This standard provides the most artifact free down and cross conversions for your deliverables. We encourage all clients to record all source material and master to this universal HD format for optimal resolution, minimal artifacts and post production cost effectiveness. HD projects requiring an interlace (i) frame rate conversion to progressive (p) is challenging – and depending on the material, may create artifacts in the final image. This conversion is to be avoided whenever possible by sourcing and mastering in a progressive (p) frame rate. Interlace (i) deliverables can be provided later.
